Well I was SO hopeful this pregnancy would be smoother than my daughters, but I guess I was wrong! I have a rare condition called Uterine Didelphys. I have 2 uterus' and 2 cervixes. With my daughter I had loads of complications and she was born at 33 weeks. My hope was that she "stretched" me out and that this pregnancy would be much easier, and it kind of has been, up until now.
I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and I've been getting weekly ultrasounds to measure everything and make sure Jude stays put (Jude Allen Schillo is our little man's name!). 2 weeks ago my fluid level was at 12, then last week it was at 8, and yesterday it was at 6. So off to the hospital I went.
They are doing another ultrasound here in a few hours to check it again....
HOPEFULLY the fluid starts to go up and I can go HOME on bedrest, but if it stays the same I'll probably be here on bedrest. Needless to say I'll be writing on this blog alot!
- My name is Erin Schillo and I am a Cloth Diaper Consultant for Everything Birth! I help people sort through the miriad of cloth diaper options and help them chose which diaper(s) will work best for their family. I can help you with your online registry, host local diaper parties where you can touch and see the diapers first hand, and offer FREE personal consultations (in person and online). I have a wonderful husband, Greg, who is VERY supportive of our choice to cloth diaper. He LOVES the cost savings because he's an accountant! We have a daughter, Savanna, who was born on April 10, 2010 and a son on the way, due March 8, 2012.
